Dear R/C Enthusiast,
The Sky Rovers Flying Club would like to invite you to our annual Airshow on July 26-27, 2008 being held at Ford Field, 2269 McBurney Rd., Phelps, NY This event is in it's 30th year and has been enjoyed by many thousands of people.
We offer free primitive camping and spots for your RV or camper. We do not have hookups available. Arrivals are welcome as early as Thursday and open flying will be permitted. There are no fees for parking,camping or registration for the weekend. We have on site an excellent concession stand with plenty of fresh cooked food and ice cold drinks.
Any size aircraft is allowed, gas, glo or electric. Due to restrictions at the field, turbine powered aircraft are not permitted. Registration starts at 9:00 AM daily and airshow flying will end at 5:00 PM. Open flying is permitted after the free picnic for pilots and helpers at 5:30 PM. All flying will cease at dusk.
We would also like to remind you of our 2nd annual Warbird Rally being held at our field on August 30-31, 2008.The warbird rally is open to all size aircraft, from any era and from any country. Bring your fighters, bombers, military trainers and liaison aircraft for a weekend of fun. ARF's are welcome, but please, no pseudo scale planes and no turbine aircraft.
As noted above, we offer camping without hookups, early arrival and no fees. There will also be a picnic for the flyers and helpers on Saturday evening.

Pilots who fly scale model military aircraft from any
period or any country are invited to this event.
Turbine aircraft are excluded from this event.
Our field cannot support this class of model aircraft.
This two-day event is free and open to everyone!
