CAMS Meeting Minutes
Attendance: Ron Leopardi, June Leopardi, Dan Hutchings, Debi Howe, Steve Lissberger, Lisa Lissberger, Wilber Turner, Rob Carlo, Melissa Carlo,
Joe Ludwig, Joe Discenza, Harry Overby, and Paul Osinski.
Paul Osinski called the meeting to order at 7:35PM in Erick’s and John’s absence.
Treasurer’s report was read, and accepted.
Old Business:
Paul Passed around the thank you card for our 100.00 donation to the L J Potter Vintage Aeronautical Scholarship Fund as sent by Ruth Potter.
Paul called for volunteers for the Mother’s Day Breakfast to be held at the Elk’s Lodge on Groton Avenue. Thus far the list of volunteers include; Erick (kitchen),
Debi Howe, Paul & Debbie Osinski and Wilber and Marge Turner. More details at the next meeting.
Debi extended her thanks to everyone that attended the Christmas Party.
Steve’s findings about the lawn tractor: The best deal he could find would cost the club 1400.00 .
The Maple Fest was discussed and volunteers solicited. The decision to not participate in the Maple Fest was made due to past shows has
not produced a significant number of new members.
New Business:
As a result of the discussion about the Maple Fest, a discussion was conducted for events that may be more successful at attracting new members.
Two suggestions were made; 1). The club could set up a display at the Cortland Fair, and 2). The club could give flying demonstrations at the annual car sale
that is held at the parking lot of the old Smith Corona Plant.
Paul Collected the ballots for officer Nomination and announced the new slate of officers as follows:
President: Wilber Turner
Vice President: Erick Grisel
Secretary/Treasurer: Paul Osinski
Field Marshal: Rob Carlo
Safety Officer: Don Pierce

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made at 8:15PM. Debi Howe accepted the motion and Wilber followed with a second.
