CAMS Meeting Minutes
April 10, 2008 – 6:48PM – The Cortland ELKS Lodge, Cortland, New York
Attendance: Joe Discenza, Erick Grisel, Joe Ludwig, Elson Shields, Wilber Turner, John Reed, Debi Howe, Mike Feint, Ron Leopardi, June Leopardi and Paul Osinski
Wilber Turner called the meeting to order at 6:48PM.
Treasurer’s report was read, and accepted.
Last months minutes read and accepted.
Old Business:
New Business:
A motion was originally made to spend $50.00 to advertise in the Shopper. Than the motion was amended and an advertising committee was appointed to spend the $50.00 as earlier allocated. The Committee members are; Paul Osinski, Debi Howe and Erick Grisel.
Debi will arrange for free advertising on Q Country on their event community report.
Paul Reported that the club insurance was paid.
Erick reports that the club can purchase the food for the Mother’s day Breakfast.
Mike reported that the neighbor horses has made a pit laden mess of the field. Mike asked for a work party to help fill in the hoof holes.
A discussion about the mowing roster was followed by making a motion for Debi to email for volunteers. If enough volunteers are not found, the usual mowing roster will be made up.
Since we are waiting till after the Mother’s day Breakfast to spend any of the club treasury on lawn equipment, Ron Leopardi has offered to cut the field the first few times. Thank you Ron.
A motion was made to close the meeting at 8:10. Debi accepted the motion and seconded by Mike.
