CAMS Meeting Minutes
May 8th, 2008 – 6:42PM – ELKS Lodge, Cortland, New York
Attendance: Wilber Turner, Elson Shields, John Reed, Debi Howe, Ron Leopardi, June Leopardi and Paul Osinski.
Wilber Turner called the meeting to order at 6:42PM.
Minutes from last month’s meeting read. Accepted by Debi – seconded by John
Treasurer’s report was read, motion made by Debi – seconded by John - and accepted.
Old Business:
Debi reported that only one member responded to the email that was sent for volunteers for the mowing roster.
Debi and Paul announced that the following advertising has been arranged for the Mother’s day Breakfast.
Cable Channel 2, The Cortland Standard, The Cortland Shopper, 6 of the local radio stations that have community announcements and 16 local locations have fliers.
Debi suggested that the members that are working the breakfast and have CAMS shirts should wear them.
The pricing for the raffle tickets for the breakfast were decided to be, 1.00 and 6 for 5.00 for the RC Plane. For the 50/25/25 they should be 1.00 each.
Motion was made to accept the old business, second by Ron.
New Business:
A discussion on the price the club was willing to spend on a used lawn tractor. A motion was made to raise the currant limit from $500.00 to 750.00. A vote of all in favor was made and motion carried.
Since only one volunteer responded to the email for the mowing roster, the usual roster will be drawn up and mailed to the members.
A discussion arose about access to the checking account on the weekends. A motion was made to have Erick removed as an endorser and have Wilber added as the secondary endorser. John accepted the motion, seconded by Debi.
Debi made the motion to accept the new business, seconded by John.

Our next meeting will be on June 12th at the CAMS field. A rain location has not been determined.
