CAMS Meeting Minutes

Attendance: Wilber Turner, Dan Hutchings, Mike Briglio, Don Pierce, Toby Pierce, Tony Steiner,Mike Feint, Steve Lissberger, Joe Discenza and Paul Osinski.
Wilber Turner called the meeting to order at 6:35PM.
Minutes from last month’s meeting read. Accepted by Tony – seconded by Mike
Treasurer’s report was read, motion made by Wilber – seconded by Tony - and accepted.

Old Business:
Paul reported the following about the Mother’s Day Breakfast:
Ticket sales: 511.00
Raffle income: 69.00
Total: 580.00

Expenses:
Food: 279.94
ELKS 70.00
Advertising 50.00
Total 399.94

Profit: 180.06

Additionally it should be mentioned that 50.00 of the pre-sale ticket money may have been a donation and Paul paid, out of his own pocket, an additional 45.00 for advertising.
Motion to accept the old business was made by Wilber and seconded by Tony.

New Business:
      A discussion about where we park when at the field. It was decided that we should park no further than the second post of our structure in order to keep the pit area clear of vehicles and to help keep that portion of the field free of gullies made from our vehicle tires.
     Summer Picnic; It was decided that our Summer Picnic will be on July 12th with a rain date of July 13th.
Motion made by Tony and seconded by Mike. Voted and carried.
     Paul reported that Ron had a 50.00 offer on the John Deer Tractor. It was than decided to accept an offer of 100.00.
     Paul made the motion to accept any 100.00 offer, seconded by Tony. Voted and carried all in favor.
     Paul mentioned that the club purchase a new grill. No motion made because of the lack of storage for the grill.

A discussion was conducted about adding another structure to our field next to the existing one. The structure should be fully enclosed or partially enclosed in order to store our grill and frequency board. Steve volunteered Tony to draw up plans and a material list for the project. Wilber will contact John Reed to find out if the club can get the materials from the wholesaler that we got the lumber from before. More discussion at future meetings.

     Wilber made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:16. seconded by Dan.
