The model aircraft are IMAStiks. A little story here. Huub is really a helicopter pilot and flew his helicopter in our club contest. The took a third place which netted him the IMAStik. The Stik and a Holiday had been give to the club for awards by Willem Bravenboer, IMA owners. Huub asked me to build it for him which I did. Some three months later (and a lot of flying) I gave it back to him after I had acquired and built one for myself.
The Stiks are Styrofoam using a speed 280 with a small Schultz
controller a small receiver a seven cell 750 NiMH battery pack with two small
servos. They fly very well and handle wind. Flight times exceed ten
minutes. They are fun planes that are easily carried and flown almost
anywhere.

Wolfgang Liening who owns and operates Hobby -Land GMBH is located in Heinsberg, Germany. He is holding MGM controllers from Ziln, Czech Republic. These are the "Cadillac" of controllers and are difficult to find. Wolfgang has started to handle the MGM controllers. His web site is www.Hobby-Land.de He is one good guy.
