FYI

If you have not heard, our very own Jon Gerber will be running for the AMA District II Vice Presidency.  In the upcoming weeks, Jon will be outlining his campaign.  He would like to know what you think, how the AMA can help you and our club.  E-Mail him and give him your thoughts and suggestions.  Lets give Jon all the support we can in making him our next District VP.

Important Safety Note:

We continue to have a few individuals who think they are the exception to the rule. No one and I mean no one, should be flying alone at the field. You have been warned. There are a few club members that have been warned several times already. If we have to tell you again you better start looking for a new club because your membership will be terminated.  We need to construct a new radio impound rack. As the weather improves and we get more and more club members coming out to fly we need to impound these radios. Until such time that we can construct an impound rack that the teens cannot burn or destroy, the table under the canopy will serve as our radio impound. Any time we have three or more pilots flying we need to impound the radios.

A Message From John Palestro:

The 1st U.S. R/C Flight School offers flight training manuals that can be very useful to both the new and also  experienced pilot. If you are interested in becoming a better pilot then please go to their web site at, www.rcflightschool.com and check out the various courses they have available.  If you are interested in one of their flight manuals contact John Palestro at JPal101@aol.com to place your order and receive a 20% club discount.

John has already gotten a number of orders at the meeting.  If we as a club place a large enough order we will get a 20% discount.  Well worth the investment.
