My Thunder Tiger Raptor 30v1

I know the Raptor V1 is out of date, but I'm so proud of this bird I wanted to do a little section on it.  I started flying (getting them off the ground) helicopters in 2002.  I learned on a Kyosho Nexus 30 pictured below.

I learned the hard way on helicopters.. The nexus above I bought from a gent in North Carolina from Ebay, and it was the absolute best experience in leaning so far :)  It flew great, but some links were a bit sloppy.  I started pouring money into it, upgrading parts here and there till I had a very smooth flying chopper..My lesson leaned was that I should NOT throw soooo much money into a trainer with limited aerobatic capabilities.  I outgrew it rather rapidly.  It even had a custom painted fiberglass canopy!

Enter the Raptor 30v1.  I bought the Raptor about 4 months after getting the Nexus.  I bought the kit so I knew exactly how to fix it when I dork it in (which I have several times :) ).  I tricked it out with tons of aftermarket parts, carbon this, aluminum that, etc.... I now have well over $1200 in a 30 sized bird!  GRRRR.. $1200 could have bought a Vigor CS with an OS 91 CSpec! ... Yet another lesson learned.
