| The windsock in the background of the launch photo gives an indication of the wind conditions as the meet ran to its conclusion. Seen in that photo from, left to right, are Jack Barker, Jim Detar and Vic Nippert. The similarity of launch angles for Jim and Vic produced similar results, that is, quick loops and sudden arrival back on terra firma. Jack managed a much more stable launch and achieved a clean victory. | |||||
