SPECIAL EVENTS:
I'm sure you remember the social event of the season at last year's GGG, and how the guys stood around with their tongues hanging out.  Well, this year all are invited to a Lemonade Party and I guess that means the great unwashed can come too. Everyone is Invited to a LEMONADE PARTY at the GREAT GRAPE GATHERING Saturday, September 20, 2:00 pm. Wear a hat! There will be a prize for the best decorated hat. If you are so inclined, bring a dozen cookies or whatever else you would like to share with the group.

In that case, there may be a few more events added , BUT , their participation will depend on the date they will have for the September contest in Muncie. Watch the FAC newsletter or contact Jim Anderson for details as the date approaches.
If you wish to have a special event included, please let me know immediately. Sponsors may provide prizes of their choice, although I suggest wines are always suitable. SAM 86 will provide the award plaques. Sponsorship means you will provide the prize of your choice as noted in the Special Events item. The sponsor must provide any rules that govern the event. Please write them carefully as they will be published exactly as written.
The GGG raffle was started to give us a financial cushion for those years when we did not have a “break even” contest. It is also a great way to clear out our accumulation stuff and junque that we just couldn’t resist adding to our collection. At this time, we do not have a coordinator. If you are willing to take on this task, please let me know. In the past, all proceeds went into the SAM 86 coffers. If a member of WNYFFS takes over, it seems reasonable that proceeds should go to their coffers after we have ensured a “break even” status. - Jim Anderson SAM 86
